Current Operations
Currently, the Company has eight active projects in Ethiopia. Out of these are 4 buildings, 3 roads and one Commercial Crusher complex which is also producing building materials like cement blocks and cement pipes. Concerning the building projects, three are located in Addis Ababa and one in Nazareth approximately 100 Kilometres south east of Addis Ababa. The Crusher complex is located in the outskirts of Addis Ababa.
So far, YENCOMAD has been effective in achieving its programme objectives. Our internal effectiveness and capacity to implement projects are based on the greatest asset of our committed staff, many willing to live and work in difficult conditions. We have been able to be creative in exploring how technology can be integrated into our project activities in order to leverage higher quality and impact.
YENCOMAD owns the latest, highly sophisticated state of the art construction equipment required to undertake the execution of complex projects. YENCOMAD uses the latest building equipments like Bull Dozers (300hp), Graders (130hp), overhead and mobile cranes, surveying equipments, excavators, crushers, loaders, trucks and the complete set of laboratory equipments.
The challenges of YENCOMAD in terms of meeting deadlines and quality expectations have been relatively easy to handle in the face of these equipments operated by the most reliable experts the market can offer. The proper planning and implementation of sufficient equipments and material resources coupled with enhanced staff capabilities is the answer to most of the construction problems.
